PulseControl's second release, Disconnect, was engineered over the course of 2013-2014. It uses an expanded aural palette in order to manipulate electronic noise and digital signal processing, creating synthesizer-based mood pieces.

Disconnect was produced using more modern mixing techniques than PulseControl's prior releases, pulling quieter sounds to the forefront; yet is mastered in a manner that preserves traditional dynamics. While the result is a layered digital sound, it maintains the organic human touch and distinguishes Disconnect as a unique record in PulseControl's catalog.
